BBC Members - check you email for contact numbers for Kurt and Rich.Please join us in our annual caravan to see the wonderful collection of vintage memorabilia including special cars of all kinds, toys, boats, even wedding dresses and much, much more in a beautiful setting south of Dothan.
The caravan will rendezvous at the Panama City Mall (2150 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd) Sears parking log between the main building and the auto center at 9:30 with a flight departure at 9:45.
We will zoom up 231; our GPS says we will cross Hwy 20 at 10:15 so we suggest those meeting us there stage on the NE corner of 231 & 20 a little before.
Our northern and eastern members can slide into the caravan at 231 & Interstate 10 at around 10:45. We suggest the Chevron station on the east side of 231 just north of I10 (2738 US 231, Cottondale). You can also enter Wayne and Linda’s address into your

in the large parking lot behind the Martin Theater. Panama City will close down that part of 4th Street that borders the south (?) side of the Martin Theater, so that vendors and the public can utilize this area, and we will be visible. The other good news is that we can come and go as we please!
WARRIOR BEACH RETREAT “FLAGS ON THE BRIDGE”
This Thursday afternoon, May 18th, wounded Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen and their families will motorcade throughout our community on their way to the opening ceremonies at Arnold High School for the Spring Warrior Beach Retreat.
We need as many “patriots” of all ages, sizes, and shapes to meet at either end of the Hathaway Bridge, your choice, to welcome them as they pass by. Soldiers’ Angels will have American Flags of all sizes for you to use to welcome our “troops” as they caravan by. You need to be in position at the bridge by 4pm to be sure we are there when they pass by at about 4:15pm. Everyone is welcome to join in this grand welcoming celebration.
Parking for the college side of the bridge will be at the No Name Lounge (thanks, No Name) as construction has changed things on that end. Just before you reach the beach side of the bridge, pull off to the right into the boat landing parking area.
The Warriors will actually cross the bridge a second time after driving through Panama City on their way to the 7pm opening ceremonies at Arnold High which begin at 7pm. Admission is there free.
Let’s be sure we let them know how very much we appreciate their service and sacrifice.

There will be a car run and picnic to Falling Waters State next Saturday, May 13th. For those in thePanama City area, we will meet in the Sears parking lot at the Panama City Mall between the main store entrance and the auto center at 9:00am. We'll pull out around 9:30. Members who find it more convenient to travel 388 to CR77, will meet at the Gulf Power parking lot at the corner of CR388 and77 at 9:45am, where we leave at approxiately 10:00am with the Panama City caravan. We will caravan to Falling Waters State Park where the club has a large pavillion reserved. We will have a picnic lunch with the hamburgers and hot dogs provided by the club between 11:00am and 12:00 noon. After lunch we will have plenty of time to explore the park.
